You can do the same with our easy to use promotion and discount rule creation.

Free Shipping for St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

  • Start date: March 16, 2013
  • End date: March 17, 2013
  • Minimum cart total: offer the sale only for purchases over a certain amount

10% off when you purchase over Easter week

  • Start date: March 24, 2013
  • End date: March 31, 2013
  • If you don’t want to offer a percentage discount, you can also provide a flat rate discount
  • Apply to SKU: you can choose to limit the sale to just one SKU, product or category
  • Only want to offer this to your first 10 customers of the week? Premium plan members can access the Uses left field to limit the quantities available for the promotion. Set the uses left at 10 and the discount will expire once 10 customers have made a purchase.

Limited time St. Patrick’s day offer: Buy 1 t-shirt and receive a second t-shirt for free

  • Start date: March 16, 2013
  • End date: March 17, 2013
  • A great way to move excess inventory and make room for summer items!

Easter gift special: buy 2 boxes of chocolates and receive a free sample

  • Introduce customers to new products with this promotion that lets you offer a free item when a customer purchases a certain amount of another item.

8 Ways to market your promotion or discount

  1. Email your list of customers
  2. Email friends and family
  3. Ask 3 close friends or family members to email the promotion to their friends and family
  4. Post a note on your Facebook page (Check out our special St. Patrick’s Day discount!)
  5. Tweet out your promotion
  6. If possible, add in a banner or a line of text on your homepage to announce the promotion
  7. Update your personal email signature to include not just your store url but also the promotion
  8. Print a postcard sized flyer and leave it in local coffee shops or posted on community bulletin boards
