What types of websites or blog services does Cashie Commerce support?
Cashie Commerce works on all types of websites and blogs. HTML, PHP, ASP, Blogger, Yola etc. - it doesn't matter. You just need to be able to copy and paste a few lines of code into the HTML of your site.
Cashie Commerce works well with popular CMS frameworks such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla. However, since hosted WordPress accounts do not allow you to insert code within the editor interface, you will need to host the WordPress site yourself in order to add Cashie Commerce.
Note: If you are using WordPress, Cashie Commerce is even easier when using the Cashie Commerce WordPress plugin.
Do I have to download or install anything to use Cashie Commerce?
No. There is nothing to download or install. Just copy and paste a few lines of code into your site and you're ready to go.
What languages does Cashie Commerce support?
Cashie Commerce currently supports the following languages:

How many sites can I use Cashie Commerce on?
Each Cashie Commerce account can be connected to only one Checkout process. However, signing up for Cashie Commerce is free and you can connect multiple Cashie Commerce accounts to the same PayPal Payments Pro or PayPal Payments Standard account. So, it doesn't cost you any more to use Cashie Commerce on multiple sites that you create.
How do i customize the appearance of the PayPal checkout page?
PayPal provides you with tools to customize the appearance (colors/images) used on the PayPal checkout page. Follow these steps to customize these images and color from within your PayPal account:
- Log in to your PayPal website at https://www.paypal.com.
- Click the Profile link in from the main navigation.
- Choose the "My selling tools" option from the side navigation.
- In the Selling online section, click 'Update' for the Custom payment pages option.

How many products can I sell using Cashie Commerce?
Cashie Commerce is completely unlimited. You can add as many products with as many options as you would like to sell.
What types of coupons or sales/discounts can I apply to my store?
Cashie Commerce supports the following types of promotions:
- Flat rate discount
- Percentage rate discount
- By quantity X and get quantity Y free
- By product X and get product Y free
- Free shipping
How do I charge my customers for shipping?
Cashie Commerce provides multiple ways for handling shipping charges. This includes per-item shipping, storewide shipping fees as well as real-time shipping rate lookup. The real-time shipping rate lookup requires that you have an account with one of the following shipping providers:
- UPS
- FedEx
- USPS (US stores only)
- Canada Post (CA stores only)
- Australia Post (AU stores only)
What type of PayPal account do I need?
Cashie Commerce works directly with a PayPal account for handling credit card transactions.
Cashie Commerce works with PayPal Payments Standard as well as PayPal Payments Advanced (US merchants) and Website Payments Pro - Hosted Solution (Australia/United Kingdom merchants). For more information on each of these services, visit the following links on the PayPal website:

Is Cashie Commerce safe and secure/PCI compliant?
Yes. Cashie Commerce is a PCI compliant solution that uses industry standard SSL to encrypt and transmit all data.
Do I need to purchase a SSL certificate for my site?
Cashie Commerce hosts a completely secure checkout process for your site. However, we do suggest that you purchase a SSL certificate for your website so that your customers are reassured that the purchases they are making on your website are safe. Please note that if you are using PayPal Payments Standard, this is not necessary as the checkout process is performed on the PayPal website where the security is handled by PayPal.
What does Cashie Commerce cost?
Cashie Commerce is free to try as long as you want. When you're ready to start making money, just activate your account and you will be charged 2.5% of the monthly transaction volume processed by Cashie Commerce. Click here for more detailed information on pricing.
